About the event
The Melbourne Foundations Course is designed to give women the confidence, knowledge, and practical skills needed to explore safely and independently.Across a full day of training, you’ll learn how your vehicle works, how to prepare it for off-road adventures, and how to handle a range of terrain confidently — all in a relaxed, supportive, and empowering environment.
Led by the Girls Day Out 4WD Edition team, this course combines classroom-style learning, demonstrations, and guided driving sessions. You’ll cover everything from mechanical checks and tyre pressures to gear selection, traction control, recovery techniques, and advanced driving tips — giving you the foundations to take your 4WD journey anywhere.
