About the event
The Coffs Harbour Foundations Course is the perfect all-rounder — combining everything you need to know about your 4WD and how to drive it with confidence.Across this full-day experience, you’ll explore the essential mechanical knowledge, core 4WD techniques, and more advanced driving skills that form the foundation for all future off-road adventures.
Guided by the Girls Day Out 4WD Edition team, you’ll learn how to understand your vehicle, prepare it for off-road use, handle various terrains, and approach obstacles safely. We’ll cover mechanical basics like fluids, tyre pressures, suspension, and GVM/GCM — then move into real driving experiences including recovery techniques, hill climbs, and controlled descents.
It’s a hands-on, educational, and empowering day designed to give you the confidence and practical know-how to explore Australia’s great outdoors with assurance and independence.
